As owner of Markeaton Garden Centre I’d like to personally welcome customers both old and new to our new website.

Markeaton Garden Centre was founded in 1968 by my late father Gordon at a time when Garden Centres were virtually unheard of. Sharing his passion for all things horticultural, it was not a difficult decision for me to move into the family business in 1982 when I left university.

Over the years Markeaton has gained a reputation as a supplier of top quality plants and products. We have developed strong links with our regular suppliers whilst, at the same time, always keeping our eyes open for new opportunities and ideas.

We have a strong and loyal staff who have been with us for many years and share with us a passion for good customer service in a calm and friendly environment. We consider many of our regular customers as friends.
